Your visit will generally cover two key components—a thorough examination and a professional clean. During the examination, Drs Jeremy and Willem Jansz will:

- Examine your gums for any indicators of gum disease such as redness, swelling or bleeding
- Assess your bite and jaw function and look for signs of grinding or clenching
- Screen for early signs of oral cancer, which is a quick and painless but vitally important part of the check-up
- Review any existing restorations such as fillings, crowns or bridges to ensure they remain in good condition
- Take X-rays if needed to identify any issues that are not visible to the naked eye
Your professional clean will then be carried out by one of our skilled practitioners, who will:
- Remove plaque and tartar buildup from areas that are difficult to reach with a toothbrush and floss
- Polish your teeth to remove surface stains and leave your smile feeling fresh
- Floss between your teeth to ensure a thorough clean
